Hillsound Cypress 6

As a weekends hiker I am using this crampons for the last 6years with no problem at all. Strong Carbon steel and click strap never failed yet.
I also took them to PCT thru-hike in 2020.
So easy to wear and unwear in seconds even with frozen and or with the gloves on.
I think they'll last another several years without any problem.
It has six legs. At first I wish it had two front legs but I found they might deter my walking stabilty in the mountain terrain and could be dangerous to make my body a fall forward.

Working as a ski resort snowmaker these are absolutely essential gear for scrambling up and down slopes up to forty-five degrees of powder, packed snow and solid ice, depending on the day. Also ideal for climbing iced-up towers, ladders, and rocks to reach inconveniently placed snowmaking equipment. Durable, comfortable and reliable protection for long days and nights on the slopes.

Product worked great, used for climbing steep mountain range in Idaho for mountain lion hunt. Gave 4 stars only because there weren't any spikes on the front of the crampons which would have been better for climbing.

Planning on using on Kilimanjaro next year

So far, I love them.Just one outing, up an icy and hard pack snow trail to a rocky summit.They performed as well as hoped for, and I look forward to many more outings.I fit them to a size 13 North Face winter boot, and the ankle strap is just about long enough to engage.I expect that any larger winter boot would be a problem.They are a much better fit for my usual size 10 hiking boots.
