Description

The Meindl Perfekt are full double stitched leather, sturdy and comfortable hiking boots, suited for alpine trekking and compatible with crampons. These boots are excellent quality due to the impressive craftsmanship that Meindl have become famous for.

The Perfekt is extremely sturdy and long lasting, with a Vibram sole that helps to reduce the chances of injuries when you are out in the mountains. These boots are very comfortable to hike in, with a leather liner for superior breath-ability and a lacing system that evenly grips your foot.

C Class boots are designed to tackle mountainous terrain, unmarked routes, screes and glaciers. Due to the terrain, these boots are stiffer and provide more protection than boots of a lower grade.

Tech Specs:

  • Upper Material: Sil – Russia leather
  • Lining: Leather
  • Footbed: Air-Active® Soft Print Drysole
  • Sole: Vibram® Montagna Sole, genuine double stitching (limited suitability for crampons)

Care Instructions:

Constant waxing of the leather is critical to maintaining the overall health of the boots, ensuring they stay waterproof and extending their. We recommend any beeswax-based product such as Meindl Sportwax. Waxing changes the appearance of the leather, making it smoother and darker.

There's no strict rule for how often to wax the boots but if you notice that water isn't beading off the boot anymore or the leather is looking a little dry, it's time to apply more!  Apply it in thin coats all over the boots and rubber guard, since rubber can dry out too. Applying a little to the hooks and eyelets also protects them against corrosion.

If you're heading out on a long trip, it's a good idea to bring a bit of wax and a brush to clean and condition the boots since salt water, mud, and scraping against rocks and rocks will strip the nutrients from the leather.

We offer all of our Meindl customers the following:

  • Free consultation
  • Custom fitting
  • Special orders (if we don't have your boot)
  • 100% rebuildable boots
